I just wanted to show Elderly, eternally beautiful, delicate women… Her features are hardly visible in the crowded, dark entrance. She is living with works, mementos of generations, roaming on small “pathways” among the treasures. Wherever she is putting her hand, everything is history and precious. As if everything was coated with dust of centuries. The place has a secret, weight, the air is thick. Marianne Gábor, the 90 years old artist, the only living Hungarian painter, who has two paintings in the self-portrait collection of Uffizi Museum in Florance. Wandering, floating in the mysterious, misty world of art, past and present. Like in a fraction of a dream, paintings, a passage of a letter, quotations from poems, photos appear… And the tale-teller is the only resident of the “castle” still alive.
